Teaching Past Simple

When I was a little baby
I was funny, I was fat.
And I didn't have much hair
On my little round head.

When I was a little girl
I had lots of pretty toys.
I had lots of funny friends.
They were girls and they were boys.

When I was a little pupil
I had lots of pretty pens,
Clever books and coloured pencils
And a simple brown dress.

When I was a bigger pupil
I coul play the violine.
I could sing and I could dance
When I was only 16.

Then I was a clever student,
Could speak English and translate.
I could learn a lot of words,
Lots of things I could create.

Now I'm an English teacher
Teaching adults, teaching kids.
And my job is full of pleasure.
Stay with me and practise this.
