(Вскакивает и отбрасывает ногой телевизор. На столике - два бокала и книга. Снова в кадре - горящий автобус, опрокинувшийся навзничь; рядом - телефонная будка. Школьники убегают. Взрослые учиняют погром. Подъезжает милицейская машина. Погром продолжается и исчезает; в кадре виден вагон с людьми, а затем - учитель с указкой. Милицейская машина прорывается сквозь огонь; на её капот прыгает один из погромщиков. В кадре - Пинк в квартире. Перед его лицом - жена, протянув руку и наклонившись, смотрит на него.)
Я увидел надпись на стене:
(Жена спит в кровати, а Пинк сидит на своей постели. В кадре: парк; отец одного из мальчиков отталкивает Пинка, и тот одиноко бредёт к качелям. Снова в кадре - погром. Один из обломков попадает в ещё одну полицейскую машину, и она, не успев остановиться, тоже загорается. Погромщик убегает. Видны горящие столбы дерева.)
"Вряд ли кто-то в жизни нужен мне".
(В кадре - лицо Пинка. В его крови - сильнейший химический процесс. Снова слышен дикий вопль. В кадре - пациент врача. Его сменяют вооружённые школьники, марширующие на фоне горящей школы. Тем временем ещё один погромщик схватывает и швыряет горящий обломок. Снова в кадре - пациент, а затем - горящие столбы.)
Нет!
(Рука Пинка выпускает телефонную трубку. Он лежит на кровати, рядом с которой горит настольная лампа. В кадре - активист и жена Пинка (у неё открыты глаза).)
Никто не нужен в этой жизни мне!
(Жена поворачивается к активисту. Маленький Пинк залезает в кровать к матери. В кадре - Пинк и его жена в загсе; вокруг - брачные свидетели. Кадр сменяется сброшенной с самолёта бомбой, которая взрывается. Снова в кадре - погромщики, бросающие в воздух горящие обломки. Их сменяют марширующие полицейские, вооружённые щитами и пистолетами. Один из них выстрелил, ранив кого-то из восставших, и его уносят. Стычка между полицией и погромщиками продолжается.)
Я сам - последний кирпич для постройки стены.
(Железные щиты в виде забора падают на землю. Дым от обломков стелется в воздухе. Погромщики разбегаются. В кадре - Пинк, сидящий около стены телефонной кабины. Затем мы видим его в кровати, а на него смотрит его жена. После чего она сидит в кресле и курит. Снова в кадре - Пинк около стены телефонной кабины.)
Я сам - один из кирпичей в постройке стены.
(Видна только стена. Над ней - мутновато-белый свет.)

(He stands in the shot on the stage in front of the auditorium, covering his eyes with his hands. Then there is a war in the shot, an explosion; the soldiers scatter in different directions. The bus catches fire. One of the soldiers throws a burning fragment into the air. A burning bus turns into a school. Schoolchildren beat the car with bats. Pink is sitting in the chair again, taking his left hand away from his eyes.)

(He jumps up and kicks the TV away. There are two glasses and a book on the table. Again in the shot is a burning bus, overturned on its back; next to it is a telephone booth. Schoolchildren are running away. Adults are causing mayhem. A police car pulls up. The mayhem continues and disappears; a car with people is visible in the shot, and then a teacher with a pointer. A police car breaks through the fire; one of the rioters jumps on her hood. In the shot - Pink in the apartment. In front of his face - his wife, holding out her hand and bending down, looks at him.)

(The wife sleeps in bed, and Pink is sitting on his bed. In the shot: a park; the father of one of the boys pushes Pink away, and he wanders alone to the swing. Again in the shot - a riot. (Pink's face is in the shot. There is a strong chemical process in his blood. A wild scream is heard again. In the shot is a doctor's patient. He is replaced by armed schoolchildren marching against the background of a burning school. Meanwhile, another rioter grabs and throws a burning fragment. The patient is in the shot again, and then the burning pillars.)

(Pink's hand lets the handset out. He lays on the bed, next to which a table lamp is lit. In the shot is an activist and Pink's wife (her eyes are open).)

(The wife turns to the activist. Little Pink climbs into his mother's bed. In the shot - Pink and his wife in the registry office; around - marriage witnesses. The shot is replaced by a bomb dropped from an airplane, which explodes. Again in the shot - rioters throwing burning fragments into the air. They are replaced by marching policemen armed with shields and pistols. One of them fired, wounding one of the rebels, and he is carried away. The clash between the police and the rioters continues.)
All in all it was all just bricks in the wall.
(Iron shields in the form of a fence fall to the ground. Smoke from the wreckage is spreading in the air. The rioters are running away. In the shot - Pink, sitting near the wall of the telephone booth. Then we see him in bed, and his wife is looking at him. After that, she sits in a chair and smokes. Again in the shot - Pink near the wall of the telephone booth.)
All in all you were all just bricks in the wall.
