Doppelgangers

We stand together,
We stand tall,
We search for each other,
We ascend and fall.

We are the most transparent touch of the air,
We do what we dare...

We fall asleep and rise in love,
We do what we're meant to,
In a different dimension
We reinvent our tension...

We rise together, rise in love,
We share our feelings like a lonesome spark,
We have our hints for frail reality,
We feel and notice abnormalities.

*  This work is based on a series of sculptures by Christina Bothwell whose main creative topics and plots revolve around the states of sleep, drowsiness and relaxation.

Her simple yet magnificently alluring oeuvres seem to be based on the dynamic approach to human being in a state of sleep or close to it.

The psyche is depicted as a flexible, substantially meaningful and eternally valuable entity. It moves and develops along with the body of a dreamer.
