Neither Pain, Nor Neverending Sorrow
Will let tomorrow escape today;
We have no future to borrow,
And no luxury of dismay;
There is hope for the vital compassion,
That will rise with the dawn of the day;
Something completely irrational;
But always welcome to stay;
You can ask:
What's the meaning of freedom?
And what is the price to pay?
There are scruples to get rid of,
There's promise of sheer May;
Yet, as usual, the path is winding,
And there are multiple dead ends,
So be blessed luck of finding,
Somebodies who don't pretend;
Those, whose honesty is brutal,
For there is no gain to hide,
Let's assume that it's not futale
And roam roads of precious minds.
