Sonnet 18

You are the south of my soul,
From where the sunbeam comes in
My cold and dark-governed pole
To feel the summer begin!
And let fresh grass cover all
And grow the flowers alive,
By putting spring in my soul
That's coming back with my thrive!
While on my land freezing vice

And chain it with thin ice,
Yet you shine fiery above!
  Please keep this life-waking light
So I could win this cold night!
