A wise devil
My dear friend, my loyal Devil,
Sang little song for me at once:
A sailor swam at night in abyss,
But drowned with towering up sun
Around him waves-walls were rising,
Fell down, seethed again, again!
In front of him his white and shining
Great love swept over, scudded, ran
He heard her call, when he was floating:
“Believe me, please, I’ll never lie…”
But you remember, - said wise Devil,
- he went to bottom with daylight
