Splish and Splash excerpts

this is translations of a few lines in the famous Wilhelm Busch poem known in English as 'Plish and Plum'. It was translated by Charles T Brooks but i originally was familiar with Russian poem by Daniil Harms that is based on it, and then with a slightly reworked version by Yuri Koval' used in a charming cartoon narrated by the great Sergey Yursky. i renamed the main characters Splish and Splash(interchangeable to Splash n Splish), and translated the lines that weren't in the original

British native, mister Hopp
looks into a long telescope
sees deep woods and mountains high
sees the clouds in the sky

but he does not see one bit
what is right under his feet

..Fetched the lost goods from the deep.
"Very well," cried long-legged Brit

he says "highly entertaining!
that's importance of the training!'
i love those kind of dogs
so to London i'll take both

there they'll shower in treats and roses
in the Hyde Park get kissed on their noses
then with British parcel track
i'll send them to you right back

as for now, to reward them
how about a hundred dollars?

..i could be a hundred bucks richer
but instead i'm left with zilch-er
