Starseeds and empathy

What's with this soul?
It is the epoch's malignant alignment?
Is this a significant change of the environment?

Is this the lightbulb of ideas
Falling apart?
How do we dare to start
Once more,
With each day coming as a blessing
Or a hypothesis
For nauseous musings
Of the misinformed,
The unfed,
The mistaught?

At some points in life you wish
To wipe sweat
Off a distant constellation
Which seems to signalize
And imply
Life is meaningful,

But why do we lose integrity and how to regain it?
Dignity can't be feigned,
Why do some people discard and disdain it?

You stand up tall by a sequoia tree
With flags still flaring
And your heart skips a beat.

Youth is a rollercoaster journey
Or a bachata festival,
Or the brightest symphony
You wish to repeat,
Following your desire
To be wise, strong and neat.
