Attraction by the Difference
If we apply this concept to people, we will see that groups of people in which all individuals are different are more attractive than groups of people where everyone is the same. If we apply this concept to products we see that stores with many different products are more attractive than the stores with less difference between products. This explains why western societies which have very diverse populations and many different products and ideas and opinions are much more attractive than societies with homogeneous populations with less products and based only on few ideas.
This concept also applies in time dimension. The same in the past and the same in the future causes repulsion, a.k.a as boredom. You need to constantly generate change in the future to cause attraction between the past and future and to avoid repulsion in time dimension.
