С трёх колоколен

Фундаментальные вопросы можно и нужно рассматривать с трёх разных колоколен –
ума, сердца и воли. Им соответствуют три вида йоги: раджа-йога (путь познания),
бхакти-йога (путь преданного служения) и карма-йога (путь действия).

В чистом виде они не существуют, потому что не бывает мудрости без любви, а любви
без действия. Но в каждой из них центр тяжести смещён в соответствующую сторону –
ума, сердца или воли.

Зная об этом, можно легко анализировать суждения и определять их тяготение к тому
или иному типу йоги, то есть единения с Богом, Который с колокольни ума выглядит,
как Истина, с колокольни сердца – как Любовь, а с колокольни воли – как Путь.

Воля говорит: "Мы любим, потому что так решили".
Сердце возражает: "Сердцу не прикажешь".

Сердце говорит: "Ревность и эгоизм это плохо".
Ум возражает: "Иммунитет невозможен без эгоизма, а любовь – без ревности".

Ум говорит: "Мы не умеем любить чистой божественной любовью".
Воля предлагает взглянуть на любящих родителей и их возлюбленных малышей.

Святыни сродни не проявленной фотоплёнке. Их нельзя рассматривать на свету или
приводить в качестве примера. Поэтому прежде чем расплакаться от любви, радости,
горя или обиды, человек немеет, временно лишаясь дара речи, который мы привыкли
считать своей частной собственностью. В такие моменты он максимально близок к
Богу, обитающему в его сердце в виде высшего "Я", и поэтому очень красив.

FROM THREE BELL TOWERS

Fundamental questions can and should be viewed from three different "bell towers"
of mind, heart and will. They correspond to three types of yoga (lit. "union"):

- raja-yoga (path of knowledge, head);
- bhakti-yoga (path of devotional service, chest);
- karma-yoga (path of action, belly).

They do not exist in their pure form, because there is no wisdom without love,
and love without action. But in each of them the "center of gravity" is shifted
to the corresponding direction of the mind, heart or will.

Knowing this, one can easily analyze judgments and determine their belonging to
one or another type of yoga, that is, "union with God",

Who looks like truth from the bell tower of the mind;
like love/life – from the bell tower of the heart;
and like path – from the bell tower of the will.

Similar statement is found in the Gospel of John: "Jesus saith unto him, I am the
way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."
(John 14:6, KJV) Of course, he meant the higher "I".

Will says: "We love because we have decided so".
The heart objects: "The heart does not listen to orders".

The heart says: "Jealousy and selfishness are bad".
The mind objects: "Immunity is selfishness, and love does not exist without jealousy".

The mind says: "We do not know how to love with pure divine love".
Will offers to look at loving parents and their beloved babies.

Shrines are akin to undeveloped film. They cannot be viewed in the light or given
as an illustrative example. One can only keep silent about them with love and
deep respect.

Before bursting into tears of love, joy, grief or resentment, a person also
becomes numb, temporarily losing the gift of speech, which we used to consider
our private property. At such moments, a person is as close as possible to God
(dwelling in heart) and therefore is very beautiful.
