Oh, friend, you know how sweet is shedding tears
And feeling stars exploding deep inside.
Some words are soft, some sneaking thoughts are fierce,
Wishes and memories merged in my mind.
A voice of sorrow speaks into the ear,
It's pretty lies are slithing down the skin.
You are so far away, you are so near
That I can feel your presence lives within.
Though lonliness is knocking in my door,
I'm deaf and blind to any kind of stir.
Has my chest swallowed up the planet's core,
Or core itself ingested me, not sure.
All of the pain has turned into the choir.
I'm pleased to realize my heart's on fire.
