Stay silent, hide and stash away

Behold their numbers surge and fall
As silently as stars at night —
These jewels stash away and hide

How can you put in words your heart?
How can your speech the truth impart?
You're bound to be misunderstood.
An uttered thought is a falsehood —
The tumult that your springs shall drain
Draw strength from them and hide away

Refrain from pouring out your soul,
Leave unbesmirched the sacred world
Of thoughts magnificent and quaint —
For words disrupt their fragile state
Like sunbeams penetrate the night —
Their euphony protect and hide
