Playground
All boys are toying with deadly things,
Showing, pointing fingers like a gun
Ready to start an enmity.
With their big egos and their views,
They’re viewed as champions.
What a shame, or what a hex
To be at your sideline.
You’re the hero in your mother’s eyes
Never doing nothing wrong.
You see the threat where there is none.
So why your firsts are clenched?
You make your way, your stature poised
Taking things that aren’t yours.
You never learn, you never hear;
World tightly sits on your palm.
I’m giving you my hand with a hope,
But all you gave me was wrecking kiss.
And I don’t know why light ceased in you,
But I pity you cause’ you lost humanity.
This playground filled with treachery;
All boys are playing with living things,
Fooling, treating them so wrong.
I can’t stand this heartless uncivility.
You gather ones you consider fine
If they play for your team.
And the ones that stayed behind
Are choking down the sob.
Your team is cheering, having fun
At expanse of someone’s dignity.
I’m different, I’m painted blue.
I’m the one who mocked the most
And this playground is killing me
Cause’ I can’t stand pointless violence.
I see how they carry deadly things.
It corrupts the greenest sea.
But every time I try to scream,
Echo gets lost in wilderness.
No matter if I break my bones,
Promises won’t heal bullet holes.
This playground is killing me.
It filled with enemies.
Every step is dangerous,
I thread it carefully.
