Three-Faced Man

A barest touch of moonlight
Evokes them at this time.
My mind’s like a shadow
Wanders through the haze and sacred waters.

Shattered glass beneath my feet reflects misleading faces.
Each one malicious than the other.
No regret in their empty smiles.
I’m hostage to my demons.

Confinement softly killing me.
These walls refuse to talk to me.
Loneliness is like a deadly disease slowly tearing me.
Wander how much of it I can bare.

One of them lands me his hand
And pulls me up on my feet
To only show a gift of mercy.
Who would’ve thought a hand could be so deadly?

Black lines like spiderweb
Spreads down and up and everywhere.
A rush of air revives forgotten senses,
My mind finds a way out of maze.

The three of them untied the ends.
The feud between ignites the beating muscle.
A silent war of never-ending feeling
Evokes me from this nightmare.

A golden hand of morning light
Silencing internal monsters.
Fluttering of lashes brings me back
To only bear another day of this infernal life.
