A greedy eye
Looks for Paradise on Earth.
It reads long books,
People smile at each other
And listen to music.
A special kind of green,
A unique kind of blue,
A pure kind of white,
A strong kind of grey -
The city of Amsterdam is seen for the first time.
Numerous languages,
Multiple freedoms,
Tremendous inspiration -
How they touch the soul
Of a young wanderer.
This place is too picturesque to be real.
