Artio

Through the end of the Neolith,
Through the beginning of the ancient times
I used to be your glory and shelter,
Your diversity and mystery.

Higher than before,
In cold mountains
I keep looking for my prey
Like a bear-lady,
Like a dark figure
In a deep green wood.

The emeraldine night
Covers me while I roam,
I am linked to hunting and prolific nature.

I am abundance and force,
The rhythm of European woods,
The spirit of prosperity,
A strong and cryptic animal.

I am the ground you stand on
And the fruit of this ground.
