A Walk in the Forest

Barefoot - barefoot!
Walking with our mummy!
 - "Children, put on shoes!
 - Forest! Warm and sunny!"

THE FOREST

Pine tees say, birches say:
-"We are all - the forest!
  Be our guest, visit us!
  Closer, closer, CLOSER!"

THE GLADE

The sun is shining in the glade!
The fur-trees are so small!
The flowers in a round-dance
Are singing a sweet song!

STRAWBERRIES

 - 'Wild strawberries, small sisters!
    Don't hide, don't go so far!
    So - jump into my basket!
    It's cosy and ajar!"

SPIDER

On a shiny spider web
There's a spider - fat and wet!
I won't touch the web - not me!
Dewdrops on it - one, two, three!

RASPBERRY

 - "Don't be prickly, raspberry!
    Better - bend right over me...
    I'll grow bigger - and you'll see!
  - Mummy, mummy, pick those three!"

GOING HOME

Going home1 Going home!
All together - going home!
We'll eat - and sleep -
We'll come back to this forest - so deep!
