Helheim

The darkness might be beautiful
To its creatures.

It flows like black satin,
It speaks like the Moon -
With silver letters on waves,
It sings like a nightingale,
It throws fear into people's hearts

And they turn into shadows.

Nothing is quieter
Than dark songs
Of creatures that live underground.

They fall deeper
Into the dense mist,
And they are scary yet alluring.

Time without turning back,
The dearest and nearest
Underground -
They visit us, the living,
In our dreams,

And Helheim is the place of transformation
And white lilies covered by light blue moonlight.
