Not really a fan,
However I keep listening
To these songs of solitude and conflict,
Jealousy and tenderness.
A high hat and a guitar string,
A lonesome lady in a video,
And youth as it is -
Restless, careless, naive.
Now, as part of a distance office,
I listen to free jazz, not 'Animal Jazz',
And songs keep fading away.
Torn jeans, purple locks
Drown in the ocean of archives,
And a little black dress
Means things have changed vastly.
Not really a fan,
But a girl who's fond of reading,
Listening to guitar riffs at night
And jazz syncope in the daytime.
