In the chaos of genres and styles,
Books and tablets, newspapers and sites,
Author lives, while his works do not rust,
When someone would blow off the dust:
Any follower-neighbor at last...
Nothing keeps the ideas in cages.
Nothing limits the fantasy flight!
And a poet still lives with his pages
In the hearts of the people for ages,
Still emitting spiritual light!
Our censor and judge, the Almighty,
Who created the Source of the World,
Gave a start by producing the Word
That created the sky and the land.
That’s the Author that will have no end!
Tell me, bro, with an honest face:
What would Russia be without Faith?
It’s alive while the poets are able
To compose a sonnet, a fable,
Or a hymn to the Holy Grace!
