airplanes steamboats

they say steamboats are not a damage
they say steamboats are not a danger
they bring us love, flowers and singing
and that is all driving up the sales

but: you see steam boat and burn to ashes
leaving on surface just some oily spots
maybe out of love, maybe out of envy
didn't safeguard, didn't watch out..

my airplane was ill with, heavily ill with
terminally ill with the steamboat at sea
my airplane got killed by
forever killed by
it took him long to get killed by
the steamboat at sea

my airplane had a steamboat of lungs
my airplane had a steamboat of heart
we called him an ambulance train at nights
but the train didn't have a steamboat remedy, alas

Ему вызывали по ночам скорый поезд,
А в скором поезде нет от парохода средства.
