‘’Whiplash’’ (2013) is an American short movie (18 minutes) that was adapted to a feature movie in 2014. It was written and directed by Damien Chazelle.
‘’Whiplash’’ is set in New York City. Andrew is a student who wants to become a famous drummer. He knows how to work hard and believes that one day his dream will come true. When Terence Fletcher meets him, this changes his life.
‘’Whiplash’’ is a deeply emotional movie about the path to achieving the goal and the formation of a new legend. The movie is intense and does not let go until the very end. Time flies quickly. The movie completely absorbs attention. It seems that moviegoers are part of the movie, so much they are focused on what is happening on the screen.
