he was so young and ambitious
he was in love with the beautiful girl
but she was really fractious,
and often changed guys, like a whore

head over heels in love with her
against all odds and gossips,
he’ll never become a lecher
he’ll always be gracious
 
but life is so hard,
and time is imaginary
she’ll never come back
she’ll never stay there
this story is too binary
 
traumatized by sharp words,
and too self-absorbed
all around is in the vain
scared to be needful,
scared to be right,
and scared to live again...

now he is in love again,
all intentions to make right
all the past mistakes.
this love he has gained,
its His, and that no one will take.

this new found love feels so divine
"must be a replacement of the one i lost,
given to me by the heavens, a gift to treasure" so went his thoughts,
finally the one he could call "mine".

whenever he saw her with a male friend holding hands
his emotions travels, and in his past it lands.
though it be totally platonic,
but in his mind, the past hurt already got him drawing a link.
definitely something in him was broken,
pains from past wounds awoken,
like a scar was cut open.

these feelings he doesn't welcome,
isn't proud of, yet defenceless when it comes.
scared of another betrayal,
he questions if she's loyal.
still weighed down by the past lies,
He's was more hurt than he realized,
now it's obvious he is traumatized.
