С Перси Шелли в унисон Good-night

Paraphrase by Percy Bysshe Shelley
Good-Night
1820
Good-night? ah! no; the hour is ill
Which severs those it should unite;
Let us remain together still,
Then it will be good night.

How can I call the lone night good,
Though thy sweet wishes wing its flight?
Be it not said, thought, understood -
Then it will be - good night.

To hearts which near each other move
From evening close to morning light,
The night is good; because, my love,
They never say good-night.

20.03.2020.
Good-world? Ah! No! The time is ill,
When people like to panic's boil.
Let them be mine together still,
Then it will be good world.
How can I call the strange world good,
Though every day is gone be bright?
I've been not said, thought, understood,
Resumed at last for all: good night.
To hearts which near each other feel
From universe to spirit light,
The world is good while we aren't ill
Let me be brave and saying: good-night.
