He's always cool and on his guard,
She feels intensely in his sight.
The cold steel and warm flesh,
They are a somewhat perfect match.
He doesn't care all that much
About the things which hide inside,
She's meant to nurture and protect,
To bring new life to world intact.
He must protect their little world,
For that he polishes his sword;
She finds the meaning and expands
The pastures to the greener lands.
The dawn of times saw them leave
The paradise for lands beneath;
The life will always find a way -
Their nature speaks to us today.
