A Tiny Drop
Where wind alone freely sings aloud
A tiny drop was born surrounded by daylight.
Time went without hurrying up. By night
The sweet cloud had grown dark and heavy.
The little shy drop bravely left her heaven.
Following sisters and followed by brothers,
The crystal drop flying down was lighter than others.
Filled with a happy and exciting emotion,
The youngest of drops headed towards the ocean.
Marvelous waves are great hosts for rain.
In storm and calm they answer its pray.
Splendid flow of immense water is perfect for leisure,
Like the cloud watching kids from the height of the azure.
The drop's siblings knew more, they travelled on rivers.
They saw human houses, trees, mammals like beavers.
The tiny drop didn't, but it wasn't upset.
The ocean showed it sunrise and sunset.
It saw the horizon where its two homes met,
Gladly applauding with its hands so wet.
It enjoyed the mysterious depth full of different fish.
It was free and calm. There was nothing more to wish.
But it liked the surface where it could see the skies,
Hear waves' splashes and seagulls' cries.
But once, lying comfortably in the sun's reflection,
The drop felt melting. It tried to do an action
And sprang out of water. The ocean flew away.
The little drop, don't stop, it's a fascinating way!
The skies grew closer, they grew bigger.
The drop was taken to a fluffy figure.
An unknown cloud waited for new drops.
A new trip started. The journey never stops.
