My mom says
that I will be old
at thirty-two
unmarried witch
with somewhat
of a great career,
without knowing how to stitch.
She said
I won’t have a person
to spend together Friday night.
She wanted me
just to be happy,
to give a birth,
keep your arm tight.
She thinks
you were the best of options,
that I lost everything with you.
My mom said
that it’s highly likely
no one will love me as you do.
My mom said
that I was at random
delivered to the best of worlds.
She thinks
unwanted is new normal,
surprised that I am feeling cold.
My mom said
that I should have earned it.
She says
she gave me all she could.
I am not sure
if it’s normal.
She never says she loves me too.
