Danger of Psychism

About three worlds, not only the earthly world,
In Vakya Sudha Adi Shankara told,
A mirror world, a transcendental one,
Above which another world is none.
The mirror world is able to reflect
All earthly images and to collect
Them on the side which to the Earth is turned,
Back to the Earth they always are returned.
In a corruptive and alluring form
Possessing irresistible great charm
They’re coming to the earthly people back
When wisdom of discernment they lack.
They think the higher images they see,
The higher beings, spirits there can be,
They never took in their earthly head,
Where by those images they could be lead.
They are reflection of their own thought,
By their own fantasy they have been wrought,
As a result they come to vanity, self-praise,
Glad to be named the Teachers of our days.
Alas! The mirror has another side
That by the earthly people is not eyed,
As it reflects the transcendental world
Which is quite different from the underworld.
There are the wise being able to penetrate
The higher world in some spiritual state,
Having a glimpse of the mirror’s another side,
They keep the secret, to nobody confide.
