Can mankind be considered reasonable? Lets assume that the Universe is a Great unity, striving for harmony and perfection. People, it seems, are the ones left overboard. They are the only creatures, who have learned to exist by causing damage to their own kind.

How it all happened? Two monkeys sat on a branch. Their names were Yo and Mee. By negligence, Yo crumpled down and died. Mee, trying to wake a comrade, began to shake, yank, clap and, desperate, even to bite his listless body. Somehow it turned out that one monkey began to gnaw at another. Having tasted blood, the poor thing could not stop. Since then the primitive simian brain constantly demended protein for its further development. As far as it goes the human brain is the most carnivorous organ on Earth.

Today, in fact, little has changed. What we see and proudly call high-tech civilization is nothing more than an act of mutual devouring by the same clumsy apes, who in 100 thousand years have not found a better use for their growing intelegence and knowledge than to fiddle, full and cheat each other.
