Time Loop. Living

I keep re-living same day, as if I’m stuck inside the movie
Remember “Groundhog Day”? With Bill and Andie, very groovy
It had its humor, drama, wisdom. Reincarnation comes to mind
We now live in a time loop, although it’s not the equal kind

The same house, same day, the same breakfast, lunch and dinner
The same snacks while TV-watching, without getting any thinner
The same talk, the same spouse, the same virus being chewed
The same town, same window view, stuck at the same latitude

The calendar that doesn’t move. It can’t, until the curse is gone
And grass that’s waiting to be cut, one hates to see this perfect lawn
You know exactly where you left your wallet, thoughts and whisky glass
We watch this flick a hundred times, and getting drunk so time can pass

The boredom’s full of bad advice. No, don’t kill yourself, you’re fine
Oh, daydream trance, twilight delusions, make up a weird story line
We are the actors, we are viewers. In time capsule feeling sorrow
Can bet one cannot tell the difference between the past day and tomorrow

Stuck here and no place to go. To clean and wash. Drink coffee, shower
Watch news, work and work out. Miss office chats and miss rush hour
When you depart the time loop, consider finding new life’s mission
Would family be first or last? We climbed the ladders of ambition

Great chance at learning our purpose. What is essential and what’s not
It doesn’t come around too often. The curse hides blessing that we caught
Make someone happy. Do good deeds. For unimportant shed no tears
When you escape, bring what is vital. And may you live 10,000 years
