If only...

Anticipating great changes,
the whole world stopped in its tracks.
It sees Coronavirus dangers:
what news the future day unpacks?

Diseases, troubles are endemic
to this decaying world so far,
but this is more than just pandemic,
for its details are bizarre.

Is it the biggest dress-rehearsal? -
the New World Order comes on stage
with its ambitions universal,
preparing its wars to wage.

It sets controls and flexes muscles.
Its media is one of tools,
creating panic, fear, hustle,
and making people act as fools.

The nets were laid long ago.
The masses gullibly take in,
performing in a live show,
and Satan watches them with grin.

Fright is a powerful emotion
in front of growing Big Brother.
Masks muzzle us as a precaution,
and people distance from each other.

Programmed, like zombies, for obeying,
yet, common sense escapes their minds.
The system leads mankind by swaying
and, using scare tactics, binds.

If only we were so prudent
to God alone to belong
and watched the soul's secret movement
by distancing it from all wrong...

If only we were protecting
from sinfulness and filth our hearts
to put an end to sin infecting,
for it's in hearts where all sin starts.

If we were diligent by washing
not hands alone but our thoughts,
and were our desires watching,
for sin its crimes in minds plots.

Christ Jesus offers us His Way.
If we could choose this godly path,
there would have been no need today
for God to pour on us His wrath.
