This virus taught us all a lot
Despite the chaos that it brought.
Everyone lately understands
That we must start to wash our hands
And cover when we cough and sneeze.
Next we will learn our "thanks" and "please,"
And maybe we will learn at last
That days go by and time flies fast,
And so before that time is gone,
Go for your dreams and get things done.
Go on, jump with a parachute,
Complete that script you want to shoot,
Apply to get a new degree,
Adopt a puppy, plant a tree,
Go swimming with the great white shark,
Do anything that lights your spark,
But for the country's sake and yours,
Leave toilet paper in the stores!
