Cinderella – they call me,
As my forces I don’t keep
At the fire place.
In the kitchen I do work,
I am doing the stove job,
Soot is on my face.

As I am so kind and good,
From the morning I hard do
(The) work until dark night fall.
Everybody orders me,
But to thank for all good deeds
Nobody wants me.

I hide always all my grief,
I don’t cry but only sing,
I am even smiling.
What if never in my life
Nowhere can I strive
