the going is enough
an easy air fills
the gaps with flurry bluff
a fire to the frills
thrill to the finger-tips
up to the 'welcome' sign
and automatic lips
that limp-synch to the wine
the drunken mouth abuse
most eloquently, sighs
to link the me's and you's
in whitey little lies.
