Not Alone Loneliness
In the minutes of solitude…
I have to learn to live alone,
When no one ever calls my phone,
When you, my heart, become a stone,
And pain thrusts through my every bone.
O, soul of mine, make not a cry
Because of this sad lullaby,
Which life sings to you. Better try
To tell to these bad feelings, «Bye!»
I’d love to see Thy perfect smile,
Not being distant for a mile;
But this event is far a while;
It makes my essence so fragile.
I’m begging Thee, become such warm,
Which wast Thou when it was a storm
Between us, but decay was born,
And buried I Thy love with groan.
Now resurrection is required
For our tenderness. Inspired
Was I, and verily admired
Thy care... Has it truly died?..
