Orpheus couldn’t save his Eurydice.
His mission failed like all efforts human,
designed to obtain Heaven's bliss,
do not succeed because of self-assuming.
No-one can reach the heights of God’s abode,
no-one can earn, or buy, or force the ingress,
no-one can break the Heaven’s gate code –
they’d simply set ablaze their fingers.
And yet, the entry’s free. The gate is wide,
accepting all without a slightest grumble,
who set aside their worldly pride,
who are repentant, meek and deeply humble.
But no person finds paths to this
and no-one will come to God’s head-quarters,
if they, in their search of Heaven, Jesus miss,
who's offering the way to living waters.
