Attributes of the Creator

A merry chirping of the birds
or sailing in the silence clouds
can speak to me without words
of grace in nature that abounds.

The one, who seeks to understand
the world around, wouldn’t dare
to scorn the traces of the hand
of the Creator everywhere.

Yes, only a blind heart
is closed for appreciating
the glory of Creation’s art,
the soul and mind captivating.

Majestic mountains and lakes,
the colours of the changing seasons…
God’s voice through the nature breaks
into our conscience for a reason.

By speaking of His great deeds,
impressing hearts with admiration,
God omnipresent gently leads
us to a humble adoration.

Reminding daily of His might,
where every cell by Him is signed,
the Lord eternal sheds the light
into the proud human mind.

The snow speaks how God is pure;
God’s infinite, the skies are telling…
Arrays of flowers make sure
the presence of the Lord sweet-smelling.

The grass is speaking of His care,
the fruit are speaking of abundance.
What can you with His strength compare,
when rivers tell us of His wonders?

And His intelligence! Through ages
no person or no human system,
of any race, at any stages
can be compared to His wisdom.

But all this fades, when the Lord
about His love for us had spoken –
love that forever us restored,
when Jesus on the cross was broken.
