Happy 16th Birthday to my son.

To me you’re just a little toad
No matter if you’re getting old,
You only turned 16 today...
I can’t believe it. No, no way!
It’s sweet sixteen,
my pride and joy,
My only precious grownup boy.
You’ve made me smile more then once,
You’ve spoke the truth,
you’ve told some lies,
You’ve never disappointed me,
My youngest branch of Brichkov’s tree.
You’ve turned 16 today,
 it’s true,
But you’re my son and I love you.
Why don’t I know what to say?
Today is cold, but sunny day,
I’ve missed you lately very much,
You live with mom, need I say much?
But it’s ok, we’re still one,
Because we are the same, my son.
There is a life ahead of you,
Without advice,
 what you must do.
You choose precisely who you are,
The life is yours,
no bla, bla, bla...
You choose your path,
you play your part,
Remember, not to fall apart.
Just stop and go and don’t rush,
The life’s uncertainty
could crush.
Just take your time,
you’ll grow fast,
Make sure your fun will truly last.
I wish you Happy Birthday Son,
Be on a lookout , have some fun.
No matter what you’ll do sometimes,
Just play your role
and please- be wise.
Don’t worry, everything takes time,
Believe, your passion ain’t a crime.
I wish you happy life ahead,
No matter what,
I’m still your dad.
And everything will come
 who needs,
Who will pursue with hope and deeds,
With passion, backed by no remorse,
With hope, belief,
and God, of course.
With truth and loyalty, no fears,
Sometimes you’ll shed so many tears,
Just hope the tears of joy,
not pain,
There be some losses,
not all gain.
Just please remember,
don’t forget,
No matter what,
I’m still your dad.
You’ll be ok, you’ll do just fine,
Fine tuning like expensive wine.
You’ve got the looks,
you’ve got the charm,
But sometimes you can’t hear alarm,
You overslept few times I know,
But there’s no reason to lay low.
Just don’t repeat the same mistake,
You’ll learn soon, your life’s at stake.
Tomorrow is another day,
So sleep on it, you’ll find your way.
So much of this not making sense,
But you the one, who’s wearing pants.
Check your priorities, be smart,
Don’t be somebody else’s dart.
Please carefully divert your time,
Believe my son,
you’ll do just fine.
