Lady Ada
Oh schemes and numbers,
Like thorns and thunders,
Oh messages to be decoded
And Math to be blessed!
With digits she’s obsessed!
Each time they evolve she loses part of her youth,
But codes are a key to the truth.
Poetry can be weak and lame.
Numbers are never the same.
She’s the best to reside
In a Hall of Memories.
She turns the alchemy of words
Into a game of elements.
Lady Ada, with all your charm,
You would radically disarm
A bunch of postmodern skyscrapers.
Woman as a digital entity –
As a digital purity
Is not a mere scapegoat.
