Where the Spirit of God is dwelling

Not in man-made temples Spirit lives.
His dwelling place is a human heart.
When hearts are cleansed by tears, God forgives,
and grants once more a new exiting start.

Where does He seek to make His abode?
He wants to dwell in gentle hearts and humble.
He can remove the heavy burdens’ load,
which makes us hesitate, doubt, stumble….

Christ comes to dwell, to guide, to console,
and to enlighten hearts, which are confused
but ready to obey, to such a soul
God never had His grace and love refused.

Repentant souls hunger for His Word,
like new-born babies crave for milk, when crying,
desiring to know their Lord
with their hearts His mercies glorifying.

A person, who presumptuously assumes
that he is good for God, can only bluff.
Christ’s residence can’t be in dirty rooms,
Repentance makes your soul good enough.

Cry out to God, and give your sins to Him,
who did not spare His beloved son.
Oh, don’t wait until your days are grim,
until your time is over and done!

If you desire presence of the Lord,
He wants to own your soul – not to rent!
Submit to Him, to His eternal Word,
and on your knees repent, repent, repent!
