I will see You

We are subject to election
to be welcomed in God’s sight
not for our perfection,-
who is perfect, who is right?

Oh, God’s mercy! Thank you, Jesus,
that you gave another chance
to be freed from sins that seize us,
and forgave me in advance.

I’m selected and forgiven
and it’s blowing my mind,
why eternal life is given
to the one, who was unkind?

To the one, whose life is tainted
by the sins, by vengeful thoughts,
by resentfulness tormented,
to the one who boasts and gloats…

Lord, your mercy is beyond me.
How glad I am to be
to your sacred courts belonging,
that one day I’ll fully see. 

I am glad that through my struggle
with the world or sin within,
you are leading through the tunnel
to the place I’ve never been.

I am thankful for the Light
in your Word that’s guides my soul,
and it makes a bit more bright
and attainable my goal.

When one day you’ll end my story
in this world and call to Yours,
I will see You in Your Glory.
Oh, what have You in your stores!

No wars, disease, or strife …
Oh, what joy to be redeemed
celebrating perfect Life,
that before had only gleamed.

Oh, what flagrance in Your essence,
raising people from their graves!
Oh, what joy is in the presence
of my God, who loves and saves!
