Ты - мой покой, моя услада...
Смотреть в глаза, дышать тобой -
И больше ничего не надо:
Ни свет от звезд, ни шар земной!

Когда ты рядом, все прекрасно:
И день без солнца, дождь ночной;
И даже снежное ненастье -
Метели зимнею порой.

С тобой в объятьях: чудо дремлет,
Весь мир сосредоточен в нас,
Душа душе счастливо внемлет,
Пожар людских страстей погас...

Уединенье, сладость, нега,
Отрада, нежность, красота,
Земное благо, благо неба -
Ты - мой покой, моя душа.

You are my peace, my delight...
To look in your eyes, to breathe you in
And nothing else. That’s all I need!
No globe of the Earth, no stars’ light!

I have no need of any light
When you are here, all is fine:
A snow storm,  rain at night,
The winter gale danger line.

And  in your arms: the wonder sleeps.
The whole world’s here, based in us.
The  soul to soul strives  happy lips,
The human’s fire of passions passed.

The privacy and sweetness, bliss,
The joy and beauty, no control,
The blessing’s earth, the heaven kiss.
You are my peace and my soul.
