Закрытые глаза органа...

Закрытые глаза органа,
божественной мелодии молитвы
они свидетели живые
добра и зла жестокой битвы.

Впитали камни мощь державы,
опоры прочно держат храм,
там в Книгу жизни впишут главы
мольбы и слезы прихожан.

Перед собором все равны
и папы римские и люди,
Святым причастием сильны
и Господом хранимы будем.

to the Exeter Cathedral

The closed eyes of the organ,
the divine  melody of prayer
they are alive witnesses
the severe battle
between kindness and evil.

Stones have absorbed
the  world  power of the nation,
pleading and tears of parishioners,
as unread сhapters,
are holding the walls of Cafidral.

Under God Сouncil all equal,
and pontiffs and people,
we are strong by Holy Communion
and we will be preserved by the Lord.
