I am still the Arrow

Feeling the emptiness inside my chest,
What should I think, what could I say?
Only the one: "I will do it the best,
Even I try it again and again".

All to the fight, everything to the win,
And nothing, believe me, to carry.
The past and the future, and I'm between,
You know, because I'm...the Arrow.

I believe neither God nor Fate,
Only my mind, as ever.
My power's gone, I took science instead,
The knowledge both ancient and modern.

And I'm still able to fight with my foe -
The mystic and horrible beasts.
But now I know, that I should destroy
The Bridge from the Earth to the Mists.

Don't stay near me, don't stay side by side,
My time is over, I'm gone.
The way of the Hunter is following the light,
The path of the Hunter - be always alone.

На мой взгляд, из этого цикла есть и более "музыкальные" стихотворения, но мне радостно, что Вам здесь понравился ритм.
