I see the stars shuttering
In a glorious collusion
I see the vastness
Of a last summer day’s embrace
Can you grasp the tail of illusion?
Can you let yourself be enlaced?
It is all I have been needing:
Fire in my throat
Just walk the talk
Hear some voices calling:
It is not some tricky bluff
They are saying we are welcome
Can you just believe enough?
Do you see what I see?
