The Solemn Words – Торжественные слова
These words are meant for real not for pleasure.
They’re given in right vows by right men.
Repaying days, when measure for a measure
Is rendered, are beyond the narrow ken.
Like sheath of sword, they firmly hold requital.
They do not dull like gold among rust.
And when due hour comes – for moles and sidlers
Their blade delivers foredoom, true and just.
Their might’s enforced by light of expectations
That stream from world of calling hearts and eyes.
No mercy on the weeds. Exoneration
For treacherous rats is only through neckties.
These words are outspoken once forever.
They beam with rays of love or gleam with blood.
May we be strong for moving Earth and Heaven
To make these words come true before we part.
