Life was given to us
So we can live and discuss
Why it’s short or mysterious
So we can sit there and laugh at life till the 70+
Without making a fuss
Cause it can’t be all serious

I've circled the sun for the 44th time
Respecting my parents, committing no crime
Forgiving my enemies, making good friends
Whose friendship is solid, whose care never ends

God gave me the illness, but nevertheless
I begged for forgiveness and still kicked its ass
I went through a couple of interesting years
Resisting my weaknesses, facing my fears

Life has its rules to apply
This is kinda well known:
If we eager to play, we place our bets
Life goes by in a wink of an eye
That’s why I live it my own individual way with no regrets 
With no regrets

Dismissed by my daughter I went far away
Kept thinking about her though every day
I wrote many letters that she never read
For worse or for better I am still her dad

Surrounded by harmony, growing new wings
I tried not to notice the negative things
They said being happy is never too late
So I happily married my beautiful Kate
