There was a mermaid who lived in the sea
She found some treasure and a golden pea
She buried the treasure in the pink chest
And there was time for her to rest
When she was eating the golden pea
Something strange appeared on her knee
She dropped the pea on her knee
And the strange thing decided to flee
When she saw a beautiful gem
On a long magical stem
This time she decided it would be best
To put what she found in the chest
When she wiggled her tail
She saw a white sail
Once she came on land
Life has changed under her command
She built a castle on a steep shore
And jumped in the water ten times or more
She was happy and joyful there at last
If I see her again I'll join her fast.
