I’ve known you since the dawn of time,
I’ve known you since we met,
I’ve known you since I’ve learnt to rhyme,
And I’ll never forget.
I saw your image in my dreams,
But I didn’t believe.
And now I’m learning what it means
To trust and to forgive.
You’re singing like a sacred bell
Melody of the wind…
But where am I, I cannot tell,
Guess somewhere in between.
You are the warmest, kindest man,
An angel, there’s no doubt.
I will do everything I can,
Will tend you like a sprout.
Allow your soul to be loved,
