Even if the Earth is shaking
I will keep your heart from breaking,
With my fluffy, furry mane
I will shield your throat from pain,

I will call out to you deeply,
You will come back to me quickly,
We will howl at the moon
With our love song’s perfect tune,

I will lick your ear and bite it,
We will hug. I will not fight it,
I will sing to you “Arch-woo!”
Meaning how much I love you.

Wolves. This poem is about a couple of wolves. How they choose each other in this chaotic world; how the she-wolf protects her mate’s throat from their assailant by pretending to be scared and hiding under her mate; how the two wolves love, play and care for each other…
People could learn a thing or two from these magnificent animals.
